I recently completed the vfx work on Joe Cardona's latest music video entitled "Shut Up Baby." The project involved extensive roto, paint, camera tracking and comp work. You may view the full video on Vimeo http://vimeo.com/4629524

It should also be noted that this project was done with a tight budget, and absolutely no money was spent on elements - they were either free, commercial stock or original.
Done for a film sequence, this model is an interpretation of the original designs, coupled with the original Ferris Wheel from the 1893 World's Fair. Done entirely in Maya, this was an excellent modeling exercise.

It completely turned the industry on its head and introduced a new era of CGI. fxguide.com posted an article on the original image, and asked for modern renditions of it.

The image above was created in Cinema4D in about three hours.

This was a project inspired by Max Lucado's book entitled "He Still Moves Stones." In the text, he encourages the reader to make images of themselves before and after encountering God. This is the latter of the two for me. This is a very personal project for me, and I am glad that I can share it with you. The piece is entitled "Transformed into His Likeness," which has become somewhat of a motto for me of late. Please remember to check out www.explosivegraffix.com for more of my work, or just to say hi. I would appreciate any and all critiques.

I find myself consistently unmotivated in my work if I am doing something that has absolutely nothing to do with God. Therefore, I decided to pursue one of my dreams and model the Ark. The project took several days to complete, and you can read my full commentary on my website, where you can also see more renders. If you would like to see more renders on CG Society, then let me know!
